Our natural formula includes higher levels of key ingredients like Fiber, Probiotics, and Digestive Enzymes for dogs who need an advanced level of anal gland support. These vet-strength anal gland supplements come in vegetarian Duck & Bacon flavored chews that are both tasty and hypoallergenic, making them a great option for dogs with protein allergies. It's amazing what a little chew can do!®

For most pets, our Glandex® original formula is a great starting point. For pets that are known to need a higher level of anal gland support, our Glandex® Advanced Vet Strength is a suitable alternative.

Instructions

When using Glandex® for the first time, please give half (½) of the recommended amount once daily for the first 5-7 days to allow your pet to adjust to the higher fiber content, and then gradually increase to the recommended amount. Typical results are in 3-5 weeks, however optimal results may take up to 2-3 months. If you haven’t seen improvement after the first 30 days, it is recommended to double the daily amount as some pets need a higher amount of fiber to see results.

Glandex® original strength and Glandex® Advanced are patented for the same purpose—to support anal gland health in dogs and cats. The Glandex Advanced Vet Strength Chews are formulated with higher levels of some of the same all-natural ingredients as our best-selling original strength formula, and include a few new ingredients specifically for pets who need a higher level of anal gland support.

Is Glandex Advanced Vet Strength better than the Glandex original strength?

One formula is not better than the other, as both are veterinarian-formulated to address anal gland issues in pets. The purpose of one over the other is based on the level of anal gland support your pet needs. The Glandex Advanced Vet Strength Chews expand on the benefits found in our Anal Gland Support Chews. Both formulas are patented for the same purpose: to support pets’ anal gland health and address anal gland issues.

Do I have to start Glandex Supplements at a low dose?
